세존이시여!
사바세계 좋은 인연으로
큰 복을 누리고 있사오니
무량겁 번뇌망상을 떨치기위해
법당에 연등을 밝혀 올리옵니다.
시방현세에서 지은
무한쾌락 악업과
업장소멸과 삼악도를
벗어나고자 하오니
연등을 밝히고 참회하옵니다.
세존이시여!
타고난 현세에서
혼탁한 욕심을 버리고자
대자대비 원력에 이끌려 찾아가오니
연등을 밝히고 예경하옵니다.
헤아리지 못할 대천세계
항하 모래보다 많은 원력으로
모진액란 떨쳐내어 주시옵고
길을 비추어 주십사 찾아가오니
광겁토록 극진히 예경하옵니다.
